marching band rehearsal
we are starting a common action free school marching band. no prior music experience is required. we just want to have fun, learn to play some songs together, and one day infiltrate a parade. bring any instruments and any songs you want to play and teach to the rest of us.
location: we will meet in the parking lot east of the dog park in maxweel park, normal.

a people's history of the united states book club
every week we'll be reading and getting together to discuss a few chapters of howard zinn's classic a people's history of the united states. you're welcome to come and discuss even if you aren't reading the book. if you need assistance acquiring the book, please get in touch. we're reading the last four chapters and the afterward for next sunday.
location: 613 vale, bloomington (our meeting on the july 10th will be at a different location--606 1/2 oglesby, in normal.)
